Coolidge Dam
The first phase of the project was to assist in dredging operations. This required divers to work in zero visibility working with the dredging outfit to spot the excavator bucket to remove gunite and miscellaneous debris from around the East and West outlet towers. Our goal was to expose trash racks and burn off the bolts to remove the trash racks so they could be refurbished. One other task was to remove a stilling well which required us to use underwater burning gear to burnoff brackets and pipes in zero visibility.
